When
the railroad came through the town of Boyce (then called "Boyceville")
in the last days of the 1800's, we built this church at the crossroads
of what is now US 340 and VA Route 723, and called it Emmanuel
Chapel. The building was finished in 1912. This building and the
connected Parish Hall is presently For Sale. If interested
